Is my Baby Allergic?

Food allergies are hereditary. Now that I have two children, I question if they will become allergic as well?

Recently, my wife and I learned that my son is allergic to amoxicillin (penicillin family). My son was diagnosed with double ear infections and the doctor prescribed amoxicillin. As a result my son broke out in hives all over. Around the same age of 8-10 months, my wife and I found out that my daughter was also allergic to amoxicillin. It seems like my kids are getting some of the same allergies and issues that I had as a kid, (ear infections and amoxicillin allergy). Always be sure to document and journal information to refer back to these notes later.
